“This year at FutureLaw, two organizations have created compelling and highly engaging interactive displays that will greet attendees in the conference hall foyer area,” said Roland Vogl, executive director of CodeX.

Measures For Justice

“Measures for Justice (MFJ) presents an interactive, sneak preview of its Criminal Justice Data Portal featuring county-level performance data from Florida, Washington, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Utah. MFJ’s data span arrest to post-conviction and can be broken down by race/ethnicity; indigent status; sex; age; offense severity; and attorney type. The Portal is six years in the making and will launch in 2017. All data presented here are provisional.”

WITNESS

WITNESS trains and supports activists and citizens around the world to use video safely, ethically and effectively to expose human rights abuse and fight for human rights change. People everywhere are turning to video to document and tell stories of abuse. WITNESS identifies critical situations and teaches those affected by them the basics of video production, safe and ethical filming techniques, and advocacy strategies.”
