Exciting news from Road to Status, a startup that helps users complete immigration paperwork online. It provides online immigration document preparation tools and partner attorney services to individuals, attorneys, non-profits and businesses.

On July 11, “we signed a contract with Illinois Legal Aid Online,” said Chicago-based  Chase Hertel, Road To Status’ Director of Business Development & Partnerships. “In a nutshell, we are implementing Road to Status’ technology on ILAO’s website to empower the public to research their immigration options, complete paperwork, and connect with competent/affordable legal services (if appropriate).”

“This collaboration will provide visitors to ILAO’s online legal resources with safe, easy to use, and affordable access to immigration services regardless of their income levels,” the team said in the pending press release that was provided to CodeX.
