Olivier Chaduteau, founder and managing partner, Day One.

Day One is a management consulting firm with offices in Paris, New York, Stockholm, and Casablanca, specializing in strategic alignment for corporate departments such as legal, compliance, tax, and internal audit as well as firms offering professional services that include law, audit, and accounting. Mr. Chaduteau will discuss Day One’s recent report analyzing the impact of digital on legal services, studying the activity of 140 startups in 12 countries across several continents.

 

Thursday CodeX Meeting 3

 

Dr. Thompson Chengeta, Fellow, Institute of International and Comparative Law in Africa, and member, International Panel on the Regulation of Autonomous Weapon Systems.

 

 

 

He presents his project, “The plight of the innocent: Can autonomous systems save/protect life better than humans?” Dr. Chengeta will discuss the technology of lethal autonomous weapon systems which both promise to save lives and at the same time pose potential threats to fundamental human rights.
