This chart shows the frequency in which key terms occur in the EU’s AI Act. These terms were selected because they tend to reveal how the drafters think of AI. Though the Act acknowledges the benefits, it is anemic in comparison to the clear trepidation in which AI is viewed. It is unfortunate that fear remains a dominating driver in AI discourse.
