This week Stanford Law School welcomed former Associate United States Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer for a fireside chat with Professors Bernadette Meyler and Jeff Fisher hosted by the Stanford Constitutional Law Center and the Dean’s Office.

The Better Food Foundation, a non-profit promoting plant-centered diets through psychology and incentives, works to increase climate-friendly eating at institutions around the globe–not just at your own breakfast table. This foundation shared its insights with Stanford students at a seminar event... hosted by the Stanford Animal & Food Law Society (FoodSoc) on April 22. The gathering featured a range of plant-based meals and conversations on climate change.

"The big thing here was that we wanted to get undergraduates and law students together and have a broader coalition," said Emily Zinkula, JD '26, Stanford Law student and co-organizer of the event.

Stanford Law School's Barbara van Schewick authored a post, "No Two-Tier Internet: Coalition Files Complaint Against Deutsche Telekom," published by the Center for Internet and Society on a complaint Schewick helped file against Deutsche Telekom with Germany’s telecom regulator ...Bundesnetzagentur. The complaint aims to end Deutsche Telekom's violations of Europe’s net neutrality law and improve internet quality for millions of Telekom customers.

The coalition accuses Deutsche Telekom of creating artificial bottlenecks at the entrance to its network. Telekom deliberately exploits these bottlenecks to demand payment from online services for unrestricted access to Telekom customers.
