Koike discusses how the use of genomic technology raises critical ...legal, bioethical, and societal concerns, necessitating a multifaceted approach to safeguard individual rights and interests.
"While the Act does not provide specific enforcement mechanisms, its objective—to prevent genetic discrimination—aligns with legislation from other jurisdictions, such as the U.S. Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act," Koike said.
