Welcome to the Shanghai Law Chapter page! As SLS seeks to engage alumni across the globe, our chapters organize events throughout the year including mixers, networking events, faculty lectures, and more. Chapters worldwide serve as a tool to connect alumni with each other and with students and faculty from the law school.

Event Highlight: Luncheon with Dean Magill
Alumni and friends gathered at the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel for a luncheon with Dean Magill, who was visiting Shanghai for the second time since the start of her tenure as Dean of Stanford Law School. The group enjoyed a meal together and heard about exciting new initiatives at the law school. The Dean’s trip and alumni luncheon were a precursor to the Stanford+Connects Shanghai program. Event Highlight: Stanford+Connects Shanghai
Stanford alumni gathered in Shanghai on a Saturday in March for the global Stanford+Connects Program. The event featured faculty workshops and lectures and was hosted by Stanford President John L. Hennessy. Stanford Law Dean Elizabeth Magill participated in a Dean’s panel about entrepreneurship, and the day concluded with a reception for the Cardinal community in Shanghai.
