Community Engagement

Stanford Law Scholars Institute

Stanford Law School launched the Stanford Law Scholars Institute (SLSI) in 2022.

We recognize that the legal sector is among the least diverse professions in the United States and are committed to helping create a legal profession that better represents all communities.  In response, we have created the Stanford Law Scholars Institute, which is designed to provide support and training to undergraduate students seeking to explore the opportunities and benefits of a legal career for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Religious Observances

Stanford has long supported faculty, students, and staff in observing religious holidays of significance to them. In the complex process of creating the academic calendar, religious holy days are but one of many considerations. The Office for Religious Life makes available to faculty, staff and students a list of significant religious holidays at the beginning of each academic year. For any questions or concerns, please contact the Office for Religious Life.

You can find a comprehensive listing of observances on the Office for Religious Life website.
