Biography
Brian Federico is the Associate Dean for External Relations at Stanford Law School. He’s joining SLS from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he is a Regional Director of Development, leading fundraising efforts in Latin America, Southern California, and the Pacific Northwest. Prior to the GSB, Brian was Director of Development for the School of Business Administration at Portland State University where he lead the team responsible for the successful “Grow With Us” campaign, raising more than $20 million in private funds to construct the School’s new home, the Karl Miller Center. Over his career, he’s raised funds across the US, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Since 2017, Brian has served on and is currently the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Latino Network, a Portland non-profit committed to developing the strengths and opportunities of the Latinx community and reducing the racial disparities that undermine collective potential. He’s also Co-Chair of the Multnomah County Cultural Coalition, the local re-granting body of the Oregon Cultural Trust, providing funds that increase public engagement in local arts, music, literature, history, and culture.
Brian is originally from Nogales, AZ, a town on the US/Mexico-border. He earned a BA in English from Lewis & Clark College and an MBA from Portland State University. Brian currently lives in New York City with his husband, Ken.
