Hilary Ferejohn explores how user experience and usability can impact regulated industries. She is a lawyer and UX writer at Financial Engines.
Hilary has consulted for legal tech companies and contracted for Facebook as a content strategist for the Pages business product. Prior to Facebook, she worked at Sterling Communications as a content and research specialist for Lecorpio, an IP management and analytics software company. Hilary has also worked on national TV, print, and digital media campaigns for the Clorox Company at DDB Worldwide.
Before expanding to user experience, Hilary practiced estate planning law while working with a startup that helped estate planning lawyers collaborate and practice law more efficiently. She has volunteered for the Northern California Innocence Project, the Board of Equalization’s Tax Appeals Assistance Program, and the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Housing Negotiation Project.
Hilary received a BA from UC Berkeley, a JD/MBA from Santa Clara University, and an LLM in tax from Golden Gate University.
