Biography
Jacquelyn is a first-year Master of Social Work student at San Jose State University. She is currently working in collaboration with the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic to support clients who are seeking legal services related to their immigration status. She supports clients in their social, emotional, and mental/physical health needs. Jacquelyn’s background consists of restorative justice work and community mental health work, and she is excited to learn and grow in her work at IRC. Jacquelyn’s future plans involve work that impacts both the macro and micro levels of social work through a social justice lens. In her time off, she enjoys sharing a meal with her community at any of the wonderful restaurants in the Bay Area.
