Lochlan F. Shelfer is an Associate Fellow at the Constitutional Law Center. His academic focus is constitutional history, Federal Courts, and the history of federalism in ancient and modern legal systems. After completing his J.D. at Yale Law School in 2013, he clerked for Judge Carlos T. Bea on the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He holds a B.A. in Classics from New York University and a Ph.D. in Classics from Johns Hopkins University.
