She is one of the founders of Stanford Women on Boards, an initiative to increase the representation of outstanding Stanford-affiliated women on fiduciary boards of directors. She has actively managed a private investment partnership since 1993, and was licensed as a Series 7-General Securities Representative and Series 66 Investment Advisor Representative.
Michelle has extensive global experience in accounting, internal audit, financial, and operations management. Michelle was with American Express, Inc., for ten years, lastly heading a standalone, high security facility as director of travelers cheques distribution. Earlier she worked for five years with Honeywell, Inc., lastly as an accounting manager in Mexico City. She holds a BBA Accounting degree from The George Washington University School of Business.
