The “ABCs” of LGBTQ Workshop

Stanford Law’s LGBTQ group OutLaw is hosting a workshop for individuals who are interested in learning more about LGBTQ individuals and their day-to-day struggles, as well as the LGBTQ community at-large. The workshop leaders will be two wonderful, experienced leaders from the University of San Francisco’s Gender and Sexuality Center.  The learning objectives of the workshop are to:

  • Develop a basic understanding of common LGBTQ Terms

  • Understand how individuals have been socialized to think about LGBTQ identities

  • Gain a broader understanding of LGBTQ support resources

  • Experience a safe and supportive space for open and honest conversation and questions around LGBTQ issues

The cap on attendance will be around 40 people (exact number TBD).
