Bios:

Hugh Carlson is the Director of Practice at Three Crowns, in which capacity he maintains an active practice in international dispute resolution and serves in a leadership role at the firm.  He has extensive practice experience in international commercial and investment treaty arbitration.  Prior to joining Three Crowns, Hugh practiced international arbitration in the Washington, D.C. office of a large international law firm, where he represented multinational corporations and sovereign States.  He is an adjunct professor at Georgetown Law School and leads the Harvard Law School workshop Damages in International Arbitration.  Hugh is a graduate of Georgetown Law School.

Ben Jones is an associate in the Washington office.  Prior to joining Three Crowns, Benjamin was on secondment in Singapore to one of the world’s largest energy companies where he oversaw a broad portfolio of international dispute resolution matters in the Asia-Pacific region.  He previously practiced in the arbitration group of an international law firm in San Francisco.  He has significant experience in advising and representing parties in complex, high-value international commercial arbitrations in a variety of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, consumer products and technology.  Ben is a graduate of UC Berkeley School of Law
