Have you ever wondered about the nuances and challenges of building and prosecuting a human trafficking case?  How does the investigation get started; what kinds of information must be collected; how does the prosecutor work with the investigator and the survivor; what are the unique challenges of a survivor participating in a case against his/her trafficker?  Come find out the answer to these questions and more with our three panelists: Sabrina Farrell from the Alameda District Attorney’s H.E.A.T. Watch (the office’s specialized human trafficking team); Antonio Flores from the San Francisco Police Department’s Special Victims Unit; and a service provider (TBD).

Lunch will be provided.
