Please join Stanford Law School for an interactive panel discussing Stanford Law School Professor Rich Ford’s new book Dress Codes: How the Laws of Fashion Made History (Simon & Schuster, 2021). Dress Codes furnishes a history of the laws of fashion from the middle ages to the present day, a walk down history’s red carpet to uncover and examine the canons, mores, and customs of clothing—rules that we often take for granted.
Professor Ford will be joined by several other scholars and public intellectuals on the panel.
All those registered will be entered into a drawing for a copy of Dress Codes signed by Professor Ford. His book can also be obtained at the Stanford Book Store, or from Simon & Schuster or Amazon.
