Join us for a special talk with Paul Levy from Public Citizen Litigation Group about public interest lawyering and litigation.  Levy has been a public interest litigator at Public Citizen for almost 40 years.  In recent years, his practice has specialized in free speech issues arising on the Internet, including litigating cases in state and federal courts throughout the country to protect the anonymity of Internet speakers and to fight against trademark and copyright claims brought as a means of suppressing critical web sites. Earlier this year, Levy was co-counsel with SLS’ Juelsgaard Intellectual Property and Innovation Clinic defending the free speech rights of an anonymous online critic.

Lunch will be served. All guests should RSVP.

Sponsored by the Juelsgaard Intellectual Property and Innovation Clinic and the Levin Center for Public Service and Public Interest Law.
