Human Rights and Environmental Abuses, with Natalie Bridgeman Fields, Founder and Executive Director of Accountability Counsel

 

Founder and Executive Director of Accountability Counsel, Natalie Bridgeman Fields, will present diverse methods of seeking justice for human rights and environmental abuses abroad. She will draw on her background as a litigator at a large firm and in solo practice working on Alien Tort Statute cases, as a consultant on accountability to multilateral development banks, and as Accountability Counsel’s founding attorney, supporting communities in 21 countries, from Papua New Guinea to Peru, to seek justice through non-judicial accountability offices tied to international development finance.
