As a part of the “Partition @ 70: Human Rights In India” Speaker series, bringing activists, advocates, and civil society members from India to discuss human rights 70 years after independence and partition, the Stanford Human Rights Centre is proud to invite N. Paul Divakar, the Chairperson of the Asia Dalit Rights Forum to Stanford Law School to speak about caste based discrimination, Hindu nationalism and Dalit and Indigenous rights in India. Mr. Divakar is a tireless advocate for human rights for the Dalit and Adivasi communities and has actively engaged with ideas such as access to justice, gender and the intersectionality of gender and caste, economic empowerment for Dalits, and other matters of concern.
