Researching and designing public policy requires synthesizing information from many different sources and disciplines. Legal research; scientific data; economic predictions; findings and recommendations from NGOs, blue-ribbon panels, think tanks, and government agencies: all these and more guide policymakers and shape policy recommendations. Participants in this workshop will learn about the variety of non-legal sources used in policy research and ways to identify and access them, along with techniques for interpreting and evaluating work in unfamiliar disciplines. This workshop is part of The Elements of Policy Analysis (LAW 7846). All are welcome!
