Come join us for a casual brown bag lunch with SLS Alum Michael Rossotto! Mike is a 1992 SLS grad and an inaugural winner of the Stanford Law Public Service Fellowship. Prior to law school, Mike served as Friends of the Earth’s Northwest Rivers Project Coordinator, collaborating with Northwest tribes on several highly successful environmental protection campaigns. At SLS, Mike served as the Student Public Interest Coordinator, was elected President of the Environmental Law Society, worked closely with the Native American Law Students Association to persuade the law school administration to offer Indian Law for the first time in several years, and continued to be active in Northwest environmental issues. Since graduation, Mike has served as a staff attorney with the Government Accountability Project, Legal Director for the Washington Environmental Council, Executive Director of the Save Our Wild Salmon Coalition, operated his own legal and public affairs consulting firm, and most recently served for eleven years as the Appellate Department Director for the Northwest Intertribal Court System.
