The Nuts and Bolts of SLS’s Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP)

Heather Trujillo Smith and Anna Wang will go over the procedures for enrolling in Stanford’s Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP).
Stanford Law School has offered its graduates a loan repayment assistance program since 1985 when it was one of the first programs of its kind. Now the program, named The Miles and Nancy Rubin Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP), is widely regarded as the best—it provides critical loan relief that enables bright, young lawyers to pursue careers in public service.
Stanford’s commitment to guaranteeing career choices for its graduates is demonstrated by LRAP’s success. The program reflects one of the school’s key values: that public service is a worthy pursuit and that lawyers have a professional obligation to participate in public service throughout the course of their careers.
