COME LEARN ABOUT a short field study course that will examine how law and lawyers are contributing to South Africans’ struggle to overcome the political, economic, and social legacies of racial subordination, three decades after the end of apartheid. We will prepare intensively at Stanford the week of September 8, then travel to Cape Town to engage with lawyers, activists, and community members. The course is open to rising 2Ls and 3Ls.
