SIHRLA Action Hub Launch Event

- This event has passed.
In the wake of the newest presidential transition, many organizations like the ACLU have been reaching out to Stanford staff and faculty seeking support with various projects. These organizations are primarily in need of students to aid litigation efforts by conducting legal research and writing legal memos. Other projects may include hosting mass information sessions such as know your rights trainings, intakes, etc.
Stanford’s Immigration and Human Rights Law Association (SIHRLA) is launching a new initiative to meet this demand. Our goal is to match incoming research requests with SLS students who have the adequate skills to investigate the specific issue at hand. Assignments, time requirements, and deadlines will vary, but we will do our best to match tasks according to each student’s capacities. You will have the opportunity to review the details of each assignment before accepting it. SIHRLA is revamping this project based off a similar initiative that launched in 2017, which you can read more about here. Please express your interest in the current iteration of the project here.
Please join us for this launch on Monday, February 24th from 12:45 – 2 PM in Room 280B. We will be providing more information about the project and answer student questions.
Please RSVP here.
