We want to invite all who are interested (especially the 1Ls and Advanced Degree students, welcome!) to the excitement that is this year’s weekly SLS Musical Writer’s Meetings! Whether you’re an experienced comedic writer, hoping to become one, or just looking to get a better sense of what this community is about and have a laugh, please join our writers’ meetings every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. PT. After a year of Zoom writer meetings, we are so excited to meet in person. We’ll be the folks, sans books, having a good laugh!

These weekly meetings serve as our venue to brainstorm ideas for a plot for the show, write sketches and songs, and generally connect and create. You don’t need to have any experience with writing, performing, or singing to jump in and have a great time – just bring your presence and your best energy! If you really want to write but are unable to make the Wednesday time slot, please reach out to us. We will work with you to find a way for you to be involved. New folks, or newly theatrically inclined folks, interested in the musical should sign up for our listserv to ensure that you receive updates!
