Just what *is* Public Interest Lawyering?
Come hear from Diane Chin and Titi Liu, who will describe the history and development of the public interest legal field, explain the various roles public interest lawyers play in the U.S. and abroad, and provide concrete examples of the skills and talents lawyers use in the non-profit and government sectors. There will be three sessions of this program offered, divided across the six small first-year class sections.
Lunch will be provided.
This event will be held on the following dates:
- Monday, Sept. 14 (sections 1&2)
- Tuesday, Sept. 15 (sections 3&4)
- Wednesday, Sept. 16 (sections 5&6)
We’ve scheduled three sessions for community building purposes. Please attend the session that corresponds to your section number.
