Sponsored by the Stanford Center for Racial Justice
Join us for a conversation with Professor Mehrsa Baradaran about the historical development of capitalism, financial inclusion, and inequality in the United States. Professor Baradaran teaches at UC Irvine School of Law and is the author of The Color of Money: Black Banks and the Racial Wealth Gap.
About Tuesday Race Talks: Tuesday Race Talks (TRT) explore current issues related to race and racism with leading practitioners and academics in the field, frequently highlighting Stanford Law graduates, in conversation with SCRJ Faculty Director and Co-Founder, Professor Rick Banks.
SCRJ will amplify student voices to support the next generation of advocates and thought leaders. On an ongoing basis, we invite short-form articles, blog posts, poems, or other writings to feature on our website, related to TRT topics. We invite Stanford Law students’ submissions to expand the conversation on racial justice. Submissions should be sent to Diane T. Chin, Acting Director, at email@example.com for consideration, within a two-week time frame (e.g., one week before or after) discussion of any given TRT topic. Authors will be contacted if their submission is selected.
