The American Constitution Society, and the Environmental Law Society are excited to bring you a panel discussion on West Virginia v. EPA, currently before the Supreme Court, which could limit the EPA’s authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions from power plants. Professor Sean Donahue, whose firm Donahue, Goldberg & Littleton wrote a brief in the case, and Professor Danny Cullenward, Policy Director at CarbonPlan and a Research Fellow at American University’s Institute for Carbon Removal Law & Policy, both of whom have taught Climate Law & Policy here at Stanford, will co-panel. They’ll explain the case for those unfamiliar with it, provide context on it, discuss what advocates are expecting from the opinion and what the implications of the ruling could be for climate law and policy, and do a Q&A.
The event will take place Wednesday, May 18th at 6:00 PM, and dinner will be provided starting at 5:30 in Crocker Courtyard.
