War on Education: Spotlight on the Recent Terrorist Attack at AUAF

Students and faculty members in countries around the world risk their lives to receive and provide education.
The scope of this danger became apparent on August 24 when terrorists attacked the American University of Afghanistan (AUAF) in Kabul. Many innocent students and staff lost their lives, including former Stanford Law School Visiting Scholar, Professor Naqib Khpulwak.
Please join the Afghanistan Legal Education Project (ALEP) and the International Law Society (ILS) in welcoming former AUAF faculty and students to speak about this tragedy, why terrorists attack academic institutions, and AUAF’s path forward.
