Writing Policy Reports
This hands-on workshop guides you in organizing your research and data to produce compelling policy memos, white papers, and reports. You will learn general principles grounded in Robert K. Yin’s foundational works on writing policy case studies, including how to focus on process over outcome, build a strong contextual frame for the central issues, and extrapolate underlying principles for next steps in policy research. The workshop draws on successful examples from past Policy Lab projects, as well as policy-oriented empirical theses in the JSD and JSM programs.
This workshop is part of the Elements of Policy Analysis (LAW 7846). All are welcome!
