How to be a Successful Clerk and Legal Writer

  • This event is archived.

Join us for a talk with the Honorable Robert E. Bacharach, who sits on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.  Judge Bacharach recently wrote the critically-acclaimed book, Legal Writing: A Judge’s Perspective on the Science and Rhetoric of the Written Word. Based on the science of how the brain processes and stores language, Judge Bacharach will offer his insight on how law students can improve the clarity of their legal writing.  We’ll also discuss with the judge his perspectives on what makes law students successful clerkship applicants and effective law clerks.
