SUMMARY:The Law of Star Wars
DESCRIPTION:Come for lunch and talk with Professors Lemley and Hidalgo Reese about the law in Star Wars. Who owns R2-D2 and C-3PO? Do droids have rights? Are Ewoks terrorists or freedom fighters? Was Han right to shoot first? What about the plan to mine the planet Ghorman?\nYou get the gist. \nWe will nerd out applying U.S. legal doctrines and principles to the plot of Star Wars\, and there will be food.\n\nhttps://law.stanford.edu/event/the-law-of-star-wars/\n\nThis is a Stanford Law School community event.\n\nRSVP: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScRn-9xKvyW4Vi1utAKrjC0urkJsMCzqStT7Mc7Uon-1PuaAw/viewform
