Professor Michael Klausner spoke with the Daily Journal in regards to a new proposal by the American Bar Association which could accredit law school in foreign countries:

As many as 5,000 foreign-trained law school graduates in the United States take the bar exam each year.

Yet an American Bar Association proposal to accredit law schools in foreign countries so that those students could practice here has generated significant controversy.

“I see no reason why a U.S.-style legal education cannot be provided outside the U.S.,” Stanford University law and business professor Michael Klausner wrote the leaders of the ABA’s law school accreditation arm.
