Today the law firm Quinn Emanuel announced it will add Stanford Law School Professor and former Dean Kathleen M. Sullivan as a name partner. The firm will now be known as Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP. The decision was made in recognition of Kathleen Sullivan’s extraordinary contributions to the firm and the profession. Sullivan is a partner in the firm’s New York City office and heads the firm’s national appellate practice.

“Kathleen has helped shape Stanford Law School in myriad ways during her two decades here, including a pivotal deanship,” said Larry Kramer, Richard E. Lang Professor and Dean. “She remains a cherished member of our faculty, still teaching and working with colleagues and students, and we are delighted to see her add this latest honor to an already stellar career.”
