Jeffrey L. Fisher, professor of law and co-director of the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic, and Mark A. Lemley (BA ’88), William H. Neukom Professor of Law and director of the Stanford Program in Law, Science & Technology and of Stanford’s LLM Program in Law, Science & Technology, were included on The National Law Journal’s March 2013 list of “The 100 Most Influential Lawyers in America.”

The magazine recognizes 100 lawyers who shape the legal world through their work in the courtroom, at the negotiating table, in the classroom, or in government and who have taken on major legal battles and orchestrated the biggest corporate deals, according to the journal. Both are leaders in their respective fields.

Fisher is a leading authority on Supreme Court practice and a nationally recognized expert on criminal procedure. His work at the law school revolves around cases in the Supreme Court of the United States. His accomplishments include bringing and winning the landmark cases of Crawford v. Washington, Melendez-Diaz v. Massachusetts, Blakely v. Washington, and Kennedy v. Louisiana.

Lemley teaches intellectual property, computer and Internet law, patent law, and antitrust. He is a founding partner of Durie Tangri LLP and the founder and a board member of Lex Machina, Inc., a startup company providing data and analytics around IP disputes to law firms, companies, courts, and policymakers.
