The Stanford Law Tax Club serves law students interested in tax careers. The club connects students with local practitioners, shares resources about careers in tax law, and advocates for expanded tax opportunities at the law school. Recent Tax Club events include “Why Practice Tax Law?” and Stanford Tax Day.

The Tax Club has previously hosted meetings with the Tax Director of Amazon, facilitated a coffee roundtable with Judge Halpern of the U.S. Tax Court, and participated in a national tax law moot court competition.
