SUMMARY:Judge Advocate General (JAG) Info Session
DESCRIPTION:Please join JAG officers from Marines\, Army\, Navy and Air Force for an employer info session and learn more about internship and postgrad opportunities. \n**Stanford Law School believes deeply in the value of public service and encourages all of our graduates to consider how they can use their talents to serve the greater public. Military service is an especially admirable form of public service and we are enormously proud of our students who have served in the military or will do so after graduation. \n\n\n\n\nHowever\, we face a complex situation regarding military recruitment on campus due to current policies that restrict who may serve. These restrictions conflict with our core values of inclusivity and equal opportunity for all\, as well as with the non-discrimination policies of the American Bar Association and our own institution. \nOur Non-Discrimination policy states:\n\nStanford Law School makes its facilities and services open only to employers who do not discriminate on the basis of age\, religion\, disability\, ethnic background\, national origin\, gender (including gender identity and expression)\, race\, sexual orientation\, veteran status\, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. \nThe Solomon Amendment\, 10 U.S.C 983\, however\, requires us to allow military recruitment on campus or risk losing federal funding for the entire University.\n\nhttps://law.stanford.edu/event/judge-advocate-general-jag-info-session/\n\nThis is a Stanford Law School private/or invitation only event.\n\nRSVP: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSczy0dOS7x8Le2AW8SUamuJ1XwlxxvSxvvZfXAylG_w9KEIQw/viewform?usp=header
