From becoming part of Colombia’s Presidential Cabinet to being a Senator in Louisiana, SLS’s class of 2024 have big dreams for the future. We have no doubt these new Stanford Law School alumni will help to shape and improve our ever-changing world in their careers and lives!

Meet Luis Felipe Garcia, an LLM student in Stanford Law School's class of 2024. “Following my time at SLS and a year at Milbank ahead, I’m enthusiastic about returning to Colombia to drive change," said Garcia about his SLS experience.
Stanford Law School legal historian and alum, Bernadette Meyler, was cited by The New York Times in an opinion essay, "Jan. 6, America’s Rupture and the Strange, Forgotten Power of Oblivion." Her paper, "Forgetting Oblivion: The Demise of the Legislative Pardon," shows how the... On March 14, 2024, Religious Liberty Clinic students Caleb Blackerby (JD ’24) and Collin Fredricks (JD ’24) argued Chernetsky v. State of Nevada before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit - with the support of Jack Gleiberman (JD ’25) (not pictured). After argument, the Court not ...only reversed but remanded for judgment in the Clinic client’s favor. On May 13, 2024, the Religious Liberty Clinic returned to the Ninth Circuit in Guardado v. State of Nevada, where Katharine Kreitzberg (JD’ 25) and Elizabeth Spaeth (JD ’25) presented the argument.

Meet Irawati Puteri, an LLM student in Stanford Law School’s class of 2024. “Getting into Stanford Law School as a first-generation student and the only Indonesian in the cohort has taught me the values of representation and empowerment. Yet at the same time, it has also been the most humbling ...journey I have experienced. Learn from everyone, make the decision, and live in the moment,” said Puteri about her experience at SLS.
