Spring officially arrives Sunday!  And with daylight savings already upon us, who isn’t getting frisky as the daffodils arrive along with Spring Break and baseball (yes, yes and also NCAA March Madness). Tied for #2: The 2017 U.S. News & World Report “Best Law Schools” roster is out—Harvard and Stanford are tied, for second place. Yale got the top slot. Yearly tuition and fees: Yale: $59,050; Harvard: $58,242; $56,274.  Three-way tie: U.C. Berkeley, U of Michigan & U of Virginia. (Hat tip: Above The Law.)

Update Your Contacts: Henry Dicker, the long-time impresario of ALM’s Legaltech show (New York, California and other venues over the years), has joined Franklin Data, where he is now Chief Revenue Officer. The company delivers e-discovery and digital forensics advisory and tech services. “We created the CRO position specifically for Henry,” said Matthew Blake, Franklin Data’s Chief Executive Officer and President in a press release.

Tech News: The Legal Cloud Computing Association, which includes Themis Solutions (Clio), DirectLaw, NetDocuments, Onit and Rocket Matter, has completed a first set of cloud security standards, reports Jeffrey Brandt, on the PinHawk Law Technology Daily Digest.  Click here for LCCA’s press release.

Bad News: The latest U.S. Census Bureau’s salary statistics for lawyers show that women working fullMtime are making only 77.4 percen tof money  compared to the men. Check out Staci Zaretsky’s post on  Above The Law  to see what former ABA President Laurel Bellows thinks about that.

Tinder or a Match? Big Law: How’s your relationship with your corporate clients? Get some free counsel from Proskauer chairman Joseph Leccese; Mark Cohen, CEO of Legal Mosaic; Vantage Partners’ founder Danny Ertel and Michael Tal, co-CEO of BusyLamp, who offered “TED-type Talks” at Buying Legal Council’s “Professional Sourcing and Management of Legal Services” conference Tuesday.
