Fresh Intelligentsia: CodeX FutureLaw & More

Updated to correct Zach Warren’s title. In this edition of Fresh Intelligentsia, we start with Friday’s CodeX FutureLaw conference. Zach Warren, Managing Editor of Legaltech news, today wrote a terrific preview of our CodeX FutureLaw conference, after interviewing Roland Vogl, our Executive Director.

Vogl notes that “innovative lawyers are truly looking forward” and acknowledged that the conference “has expanded greatly from its original focus on start-ups and entrepreneurs.  There is ever more talk about legal technology, and we break through from the usual suspects to new communities,” Vogl said. “The more traditional bar is starting to pay attention, and some of the things that seem a bit more out there on the future horizon, like Big Data law, Moneyball for the law and machine learning, starts to become a little bit more within reach for even the average practicing lawyer.”
