CodeX Meeting 10/26
I turn the mic to CodeX Executive Director Roland Vogl:
Our next CodeX meeting is this Thursday (10/26), from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Pacific in Room N102 of the Neukom building of Stanford Law School (or via Zoom link below).
Our guests will be presenting in person from SLS:
Teel Lidow.
Founder, radvocate.
Radvocate automates consumer arbitration filings and provides claim financing, making it easier for users to file claims against large consumer service providers such as wireless carriers, airlines, and car rental agencies, working to level the playing field in customer service disputes.
Livio Robaldo.
Researcher, University of Luxembourg.

Robaldo will discuss the MIREL project. MIREL (MIning and REasoning with Legal texts), an EU-funded effort, aims at creating an international, inter-sectorial network to define a formal framework and tools for translating legal texts into formal representations that can be used for querying norms, compliance checking, and decision support.
See you then!
Roland
