CODEX EXTRAS

Here are three bonus questions exclusive to CodeX:

Your most important mentor and why:  Jill Pembroke, who was a business partner. She was full of life and saw the vision of each company that we represented. Sadly, she has since passed away from breast cancer. She taught me so much —how to manage clients’ expectations, how to produce good work and how to lead large teams. I am forever grateful to have known her.

Favorite vacation venue: My timeshare in San Jose Del Cabo (Mexico). I go around the holidays every year. I relax and unwind without thinking.

Favorite charities: Washington Lawyers for the Arts. I was on the board for the organization and having the opportunity to serve the artist community — one that is underserved — is very rewarding.
