Welcome back to a new season of our CodeX Group Meetings! Our first CodeX group meeting of the academic year will be this Thursday (Sept 12), from 2:00pm to 3:00pm PST. Our meetings continue to be held remotely. See below for info on how to access the Zoom meeting.

Bill Marino, PhD student at the University of Cambridge. Bill is presenting his research on Compliance Cards. Compliance Cards is a system for automated EU AI Act compliance assessments. Its goal is to accelerate and democratize compliance with the EU AI Act.

Yuri Kozlov, CEO, and Maria Shutova, CPO of JudgeAI. JudgeAI is a system for automating dispute resolution of economic cases without the involvement of a human judge.

Ofer Mendelevitch, Head of Developer Relations at Vectara. Vectara provides a Trusted Generative AI platform that allows organizations to rapidly create a ChatGPT-like experience (an AI assistant) grounded in the data, documents, and knowledge that they have (technically, it is called RAG or retrieval augmented generation).
