Stanford AI Law Society
A new SLS student organization focusing on the emerging field of law and artificial intelligence was launched this year. The Stanford Artificial Intelligence Law Society (SAILS) already has more than 100 members and has hosted events looking at a range of issues including robotics, law, and health care.
“I founded SAILS so that students and faculty would have a forum to engage in the cross-disciplinary collaboration necessary to adequately address these important legal, regulatory, and policy issues.” says Zach Harned, JD ‘20.
