Food Recovery Network

Beveridge & Diamond provides general legal services to Food Recovery Network, ranging from contract review to advising on program development and growth. FRN is a nonprofit that recovers perishable food that would otherwise go to waste in university dining halls and donates it to those in need. Students recover the extra food, package it, place it in a freezer or refrigerator, and transport it to area non-profit organizations the next day. Since 2011, Food Recovery Network has grown to 230 chapters, recovered 3.9 million pounds of food, and donated 3.2 million meals.
