As a new Presidential administration settles in, Krystan Hitchcock, Counsel, and Carolyn Shanahan, Litigation Fellow, from Everytown Law will join us to address a wide range of topics on the future of gun violence in America. Gun violence remains heartbreakingly top of mind in the wake of horrific shootings in Boulder and Atlanta, coupled with the disturbing current of anti-Asian racism. We’ll discuss what the new Congress might be able to accomplish, including repealing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA), paying special attention to topics facing communities of color. This panel is co-hosted by the Berkeley Law ACS chapter.
