Juan A. Sabater was appointed a member of the board of visitors to the U.S. Military Academy by President Biden in April 2022. The board of visitors comprises six members for three-year terms. It provides independent advice and recommendations on matters related to morale, discipline, curriculum, instruction, physical equipment, fiscal affairs, academic methods, and other academy matters.
Sabater is a co-president and partner of Valor Equity Partners, a Chicago growth-focused private equity firm. He is also co-chairman of the board of Augeo Affinity Marketing, which he has helped to build with David Kristal, JD’90, who founded the company and is Augeo’s CEO. Sabater also serves on the board of directors of several companies, as well as charitable organizations in New York City, Puerto Rico, and nationally. Sabater served as an officer in the United States Army Reserve.
