Please join ACS for dinner with Judge Marsha Berzon, a senior judge on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. This will be a free-flowing conversation, but topics will likely include her judicial philosophy and approach to statutory and constitutional interpretation, her perspective on the proper role of a circuit judge, her career and path to becoming a judge, her most memorable cases, and her thoughts on legal trends. This is a great for all SLS students, but particularly 2Ls and 3Ls to get a sense of what it is like to interact with appellate judges. Food will be provided upon RSVP.
