Nicola Tommasini
Biography
Nicola Tommasini holds an LLM degree from Yale University, an M.A. from the University of São Paulo and is currently finishing his D.Phil at the University of Oxford. He has been awarded multiple scholarships, held fellowships at Yale Law School and the Supreme Court of Brazil and has taught at the Stanford University’s Bing Overseas Program. His main fields are comparative constitutional law, constitutional change, institutional design and democratic theory. His latest article was published in the International Journal of Constitutional Law and discusses the reasons for judicial empowerment in constitutional democracies.
